SCARS: Littered with nicks and cuts around his hands and arms that have scarred along with a deep scar on his inner forearm. A prominent scar upon his forehead that runs back into his hairline. Large scars line his torso and back. Faint "keyhole" incisions on lower abdomen.
BODY TYPE: Naturally slender and tall, very bony with little muscle. Has a pudgy gut as age has caught up with his diet. The only gender affirming surgery he has had is a hysterectomy. He is on testosterone shots.
BIOGRAPHY
Working day and night, Ingo spends most of his time at work partaking in battles alongside his brother against numerous trainers of various skill and maintaining the subway to ensure its safety and functionality.Ingo is always looking for the next big challenge whether with other trainers pouring their heart out onto the battlefield or overcoming any problems within the subway.Though he may not serve many smiles, his customer service is beyond impeccable and the conductor will give much praise for a trainer's strength and bonds with their pokémon whether they face victory or defeat.He strives to be amicable and pleasant person to be around however, that does not mean he will let himself be pushed around nor lacks a mean bone in his body. Ingo can become too much as he has a habit of talking to anyone and everyone with no intention of stopping unless on a tight schedule.Whilst not uncommon to find him outside of the subway on his few days off, it is rare to find him separate from his brother. If there is one twin the other is often nearby. After an abrupt departure from the station that took him from Emmet for almost four years, the two are rarely apart more so than before.
HISTORY
YOUTH
Born in the quiet Anville Town, Ingo grew up alongside his younger brother and two young parents, Ermengarde Kähler and William Jon Kähler neé Smith.Fresh out of higher education, neither had stable jobs which forced William to take the first salaryman job he could get a hold to keep a roof over their head instead of pursuing his interest in interpreter work abroad. Less grounded than her husband, Ermengarde took temporary contract work which she rarely stuck with and often travelled out of the region for work. Hopping from one job to another she barely made any income for her household which - despite the arguments it caused - did not bother her. Specialising in mechanical engineering her focus was to create whether it was practical or not— money was not her focus.Due to the lack of attentive parents, Ingo was forced to take on their role ( often encouraged and enforced by his mother ) for his younger brother and ensure the two of them had everything they needed for their day to day lives from preparing lunches for school, sorting their laundry and even ensuring they had some semblance of routine in their life.It was clear he was the favoured twin of his parents as Emmet was frequently scolded for "acting out" or "misbehaving".They didn't understand him like his brother did.
They didn't understand their own son.Nobody did.The twins were never well received by either their peers or teachers. Whilst Ingo was quiet and well behaved in class, rarely causing disruption, his attempts to connect with classmates never went as planned. He was viewed as obnoxious, rude and loud as he often interjected or spoke over people when trying to engage with them, leading to constant rejection.It was always the two of them.
Nobody else.As soon as they were old enough to start their pokémon journey, they were off like a bullet train not taking so much as a moment to look back before boarding the train to the big city.It was during this time Ingo began to open up again and made new connections with people like him and even those different from himself.Participating in all the gym challenges with great success, the two challenged the Elite Four. With no option to battle as a duo, the two took on the challenge separately. Despite pouring his heart into the battles, Ingo did not beat all the elite trainers only managing to take down two before his team was toppled.Though the loss was gut wrenching for Ingo, it couldn't be a better time to lose as an apprenticeship at Gear Station had opened up. Sixteen years old, he jumped on the chance to work somewhere he had dreamt of his whole life with his brother by his side.
YOUNG ADULT YEARS
It wasn't long before the two were permanently kept on as they proved themselves knowledgeable in all things train related, even in areas such as engineering which was not part of their duties.Soon enough they found themselves by the old Subway Master's side as they'd taken a liking to their eccentric nature. After lightly pushing them to retire over the years, they leapt at the opportunity to take the role and successfully grab the position at twenty-four years old.Within just a year of their role, they went to the local council with their plans of a Battle Subway. It took persistence and constant badgering before their request was finally met despite its cost. With promise it would bring in more tourists and improve the subway's footfall, the Battle Subway was underway.

"Eliza"
The first pokémon he caught on his journey. She is his ace pokémon.Reserved in nature, she never strays too far from Ingo.
Excadrill ♀
"Brunel"
As standoffish as she appears, she is the one in charge when her other teammates are about. She's perceived as bossy, but she's known for making a lot of the right decisions.She was Ingo's second caught pokémon. Found digging in someone's yard. Trespassing was done to collect her before she got in trouble.

Predominantly Emmet's pokemon. She was found when Ingo threw a rock at Emmet.
Haxorus ♂

Another gift from family. Uncle Drayden gifted them their own axew egg during their travels. They raised it together.Despite mean looks, he's one of the friendlier and easier to approach pokémon on their team.
Garbodor ♀

A later addition to their party, but an equally loved partner. She wrecks her opponents with her grandiose strength and cleans up the mess afterwards. She also helps keep the subway and house clean.
Crustle ♂

A feisty crustacean with a big attitude. He's not afraid to make his presence known. He won't back down when he's made his claim be it a corner of the couch or one of the twins.Unless treats are brought into the picture.
Galvantula ♀

Predominantly Emmet's partner. The mother of almost all the joltiks that run rampant around the house and subway.Though he claims the joltiks are solely Emmet's, he has a fondness for them all.
Durant ♀

Predominantly Emmet's partner. A hard-worker that pulls her weight despite her size. Her sharp pincers are only for battle and evil doers. She'd much rather be pet than nip at strangers.

A pokémon gifted from their mother as a parting for their journey. Offspring of her Klinklang.It seems as if the main 'gear' in control switches depending on who is utilizing it, making the pokemon's nature and evs differ depending on which twin is using it.

Perhaps it was released on good terms with a previous partner.He couldn't turn away such a charming ghost type, and caught it and added it to his party.

Given to him from Rocket as he lacked his own team when he first arrived. It was quite hostile towards him and didn't listen to him immediately as he lacked the same controlling attitude as those before had.Ingo put a lot of time and effort into earning its trust rather than brute force his way through battle with it.
Ditto

A normal ditto that's rather good at transforming into other pokémon and other things, but can't quite get the size right of what it's copying.It makes up for its size by pushing beyond the enemy's stats even if they're a much lower level.It also made for a delightful "mini Emmet" during his absence.
Odyssey ♀
"Little Lady"
An extremely tiny sneasel he found abandoned in Johto. Clearly unwanted runt offspring that had been left to perish in the forest- it's odd patches of pink fur may have also made it undesirable to the parents.She is Ingo's first sneasel out of many, albeit not the oldest as he has breeding pairs in his collection.Though well trained, none are used in battle.

VERSES
Life had always been a clear linear set of tracks he could safely follow despite the lack of destination. As long as he had Emmet by his side everything would be just fine.It remained that way for years with little to no change in their routine until abruptly disappearing just before his fortieth birthday. As abruptly as he had departed he appeared in the subway four years later, dazed with no recollection of where he had been.There was anguish in his heart, not to the memories lost to time, but the time spent apart from his brother. Ever since his return he's been notably more dependent to his brother than in the past. Any semblance of independence they once had has seeped out the cracks and the two rely on each other to keep them stable.

Place of Residence: Nimbasa City, Unova
Ingo has been the Subway Master at Gear Stationg alongside his brother for little over a decade by the events of BW. The Battle Subway is still relatively new at only a mere five years old.During this time, he and his brother busy themselves with their usual routine paying no mind to Plasma as they seemed no more than a delusional group preaching the same useless tripe many others before them had. Only when grunts tried to bother them in their Subway did they take action.

Two years after the events that took place in Unova, Ingo is still running the Battle Subway with his brother.Nothing much has changed down at the station nor in their lives. The only notable difference Ingo would remark on is the disappearance of his young friend Black, the previous Champion of Unova.Despite the havoc being caused by Plasma's reform, the twins opt to take no notice of the happenings around Unova and focus on maintaining Gear Station and ensuring one another's safety during these events.

Found lost and wounded in the mountains by Lady Sneasler, Ingo was taken in by the Pearl Clan in his poor state.Due to his affinity to tame pokémon with ease and care, he was designated a Warden and shares a deep bond with his Noble. He has acquired a new pokémon team in his time spent in the land and proves to be a worthy foe though there are very few people in Hisui that he can offer the challenge of a battle to.Despite his skill and strange use of words and body language, Ingo does not recall any of his past; merely faint blurs of what he had once experienced in his past life.He often ponders what life was like before his awakening in Hisui, but pondering does little to get the answers he wishes for. He focuses his time and energy towards helping those around him and maintaining safety around the land.

Returned to his correct timeline, Ingo finds himself in a land he's only seen in pictures: modern Sinnoh. With all his memories returning to him, he found himself a little shaken and he struggled to remain composed. This doesn't last very long as when he sought help from the local police, fingers were immediately pointed towards him as a wanted fugitive. It seemed Emmet had found himself in trouble with the law during his disappearance.Logic told him he should have stayed with the officers to explain himself and figure out what was going on, but his heart tugged at him to run. Run and save Emmet from whatever fate awaited him if he were caught.There was no one he could turn to. Nobody he could reach out to and yet, out of the murky shadows a hand was extended out to offer a shred of hope. A chance to find his brother. An opportunity to protect them.It was that of Rocket's.
Paranoid about what would become of his brother if he didn't find him first, he latched on firmly.
Nothing, nothing, nothing.
That's all the interpol had to show for two years of searching for his brother.Not a single trace had been found. All this time, they weren't doing anything to help. Emmet didn't matter to them. Emmet didn't seem to matter to most of the world.Only he cared.Ever since he disappeared, Ingo was left to rot away instead of showing up to work. He'd stopped a long time ago. He couldn't cope with facing the subway any longer. They built that together. Not one of them, two of them as a unit.Perhaps it was stupid of him.
To accept the help from someone he knew was a criminal, but he was desperate for so much as a crumb of hope.He left Unova without a word. Without his things. Only he and his brother's pokémon came with him.

Like family. Ingo sees them around often as they play their role in the Galaxy Team. They're a little awkward, but they've got the spirit and Ingo appreciates that.
